Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Language Skills & Core Requirements

• Native Ukrainian speaker with fluent English.

• No prior experience required.

• Strong understanding of medical or community-related terminology is a plus.

• High school diploma or higher.

• Excellent listening, memory, note-taking, and communication skills.

• High emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and professional conduct.

Core Competencies

• Ability to deliver accurate consecutive interpretation with clarity and consistency.

• Adherence to interpreter ethics, professional standards, and confidentiality.

• Strong time-management skills and ability to work within structured schedules.

• Ability to adapt to different industries, clients, and call types.

• Reliability, stability, and commitment to providing high-quality service.

Technical Requirements

Internet

• Dedicated, secure, high-speed connection.

• Download: 8–10 Mbps minimum.

• Upload: 4 Mbps minimum.

• Wired Ethernet connection is mandatory (Wi-Fi not allowed).

System Specifications

• Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.

• Processor: Intel Core i3 (5th Gen+), i5, i7, or equivalent.

• Minimum 8 GB RAM.

• Active, updated antivirus.

• No VPNs, proxies, hotspots, or virtual machines.

Equipment

• One dedicated laptop/PC meeting the system specs.

• USB, wired, noise-canceling headset with microphone.

• High-quality webcam (for VRI).

• Professional, quiet workspace.
