We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day transportation operations, equipment tracking, load monitoring, yard inventory, and operational reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to keep accurate and up-to-date information across multiple operational areas.
Monitor and track company equipment, including trucks and trailers
Track active loads and monitor their status throughout the transportation process
Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and trailers located at client yards
Prepare and maintain regular dispatch reports
Prepare and maintain drop trailer detention reports for Marlon
Prepare and maintain safety reports and other operational documentation
Monitor operational data and ensure information is accurate and up to date
Communicate and coordinate with internal teams regarding equipment, loads, and operational issues
Assist with identifying and resolving day-to-day operational discrepancies
Perform other day-to-day operational tasks and responsibilities as needed
Work schedule: Monday to Friday - 8a m to 5 pm PST
Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or operations is preferred
Experience with truck and trailer tracking and/or load tracking
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work with operational reports and large amounts of information
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or tracking platforms is a plus
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong understanding of transportation operations. You should be comfortable monitoring multiple moving parts, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and quickly addressing operational issues as they arise.
