We're seeking an experienced Transmission Planning and Modeling Engineer to join our Product Team to support the growth of our rapidly expanding flexible interconnection product.
Requirements
- 7+ years in the utility industry (at a utility or adjacent consulting or academic roles) with a focus on transmission interconnections and planning analyses
- Masters or PhD in power systems or electrical engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with PSS/E, TARA, PSLF or other commonly used modeling platforms
- Experience running time series AC power flow, and contingency analyses
- Experience with SQL and/or Python scripting that support data analysis and process automation
