The Electrical Engineering I will work in close contact and effectively interact with the entire design team as well as external clients and consultants. Individuals in this position must demonstrate the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Establish system design of lighting, power, systems and technology.
Coordinate design with a project manager, senior team members and outside design consultants.
Participate in QA/QC process for your work and the work of others.
Assist in the determination of project scheduling requirements and project budgets.
Perform construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports.
Assist in processing RFI’s, change orders, bulletins, and addenda.
Research equipment selections, and complete equipment schedules.

Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Builds stable working relationships internally
Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data
Understanding of design and calculation software
Ability to learn how to lay out portions of the electrical systems for projects
Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment with purchasing, quality assurance, manufacturing and engineering personnel
Communicate effectively in English, in both oral and written forms
Must be knowledgeable in electrical and electronic engineering principles
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
