We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Scientist – AI & Robotics to lead advanced research and development in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, autonomous systems, and robotics.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to develop innovative AI and robotic technologies, translate research concepts into practical solutions, and drive the development of intelligent autonomous systems.
Lead research and development projects in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Robotics.
Develop advanced algorithms for robotic perception, planning, decision-making, navigation, manipulation, and autonomous operation.
Design and implement AI models for applications such as:
Computer vision and object recognition
Visual inspection and detection
Autonomous navigation
Robotic manipulation
Human-robot interaction
Sensor fusion
Predictive analytics
Intelligent automation
Conduct research on emerging technologies including Generative AI, Vision-Language Models, Reinforcement Learning, Foundation Models, and Embodied AI.
Develop, train, test, optimize, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
Integrate AI algorithms with robotic hardware, sensors, cameras, LiDAR, actuators, and control systems.
Work with robotics platforms and frameworks such as ROS/ROS2.
Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions and support their transition into commercial or production-ready systems.
Design experiments, analyze results, and continuously improve algorithm performance, accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest AI and robotics research, technologies, academic publications, and industry developments.
Publish technical papers, patents, research findings, or internal technical reports where appropriate.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI scientists, robotics engineers, machine learning engineers, and junior researchers.
Collaborate with universities, research institutions, technology partners, customers, and other external stakeholders.
Support preparation of research proposals, technical presentations, project specifications, and funding applications.
Participate in technical discussions with customers to understand operational requirements and translate them into AI and robotics solutions.
Ensure developed systems meet requirements for safety, reliability, scalability, and real-world deployment.
Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferably 5–10 years of relevant experience in AI, robotics, autonomous systems, machine learning, or related R&D fields.
Strong research and practical experience in one or more of the following:

Experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotic software development is highly preferred.
Experience integrating software with cameras, LiDAR, depth sensors, robotic arms, mobile robots, or autonomous platforms is an advantage.
Good understanding of algorithms, mathematics, optimization, statistics, and control systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimental research capabilities.
Ability to translate academic research into practical and commercially viable solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead technical projects and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong publication record in reputable AI, robotics, computer vision, or machine learning conferences/journals.
Existing patents or experience in intellectual property development.
Experience developing AI or robotic products from research prototype to real-world deployment.
Experience with NVIDIA CUDA, GPU computing, edge AI, Jetson platforms, cloud AI infrastructure, or MLOps.
Experience in industrial robotics, construction robotics, logistics automation, manufacturing automation, inspection robots, or service robots.
Experience managing collaborative R&D projects with universities, government agencies, or research institutions.
