We are looking for a part-time Japanese audio transcriptionist to join a short-term remote project helping train AI language systems. The project involves listening to audio recordings in Japanese and transcribing them accurately. The duration of the project is 2 months, and the time commitment is around 4-6 hours per day.
Requirements
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Comfortable reading and writing in both Japanese and English
- Strong listening skills with the ability to understand various Japanese accents and speaking styles
- Native and non-native Japanese speakers are welcome
- Non-native speakers should have JLPT N3 – N2 proficiency or higher, with strong confidence in writing, listening, and reading
- Detail-oriented and patient, able to maintain at least 95% accuracy
- Willing to ask questions when unsure
- Laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection
- Ability to manage your own time and meet deadlines
