Job Description:
We are seeking a global marketing professional to develop growth strategy and drive marketing execution initiatives aimed at growing our business. This role will focus on building a multi-year growth pipeline for a highly strategic market segment that Delrin is committed to expanding in. The position involves developing and implementing comprehensive growth strategies, including market segmentation, identifying target applications and components, creating go-to-market plans, and driving initiatives to expand our sales and development pipeline. The role will manage global programs across regions and applications, working closely with sales and application development teams to ensure alignment and execution. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing leader with strong knowledge of highly engineered thermos plastics, analytical skills, and experience in product marketing within the automotive, industrials, consumer, and/or medical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Segmentation & Analysis: Define target markets and segments where our solutions deliver value. Conduct market research to understand applications, customer needs, competitive landscape, and performance requirements.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and prioritize opportunities, create compelling value propositions, and collaborate with sales and technical teams to execute account-focused plans.
- Growth Initiatives: Apply marketing tools and frameworks to support commercial growth, track progress, and replicate successful strategies across regions.
- Sales Enablement: Partner with regional and global sales teams to implement customer engagement plans throughout design and specification cycles.
- Product & Technology Roadmap: Work with R&D and product management to shape offerings that meet market needs and accelerate new product introductions.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain and share insights from industry data and proprietary research to inform decision-making.
- Brand Activation: Enhance brand visibility through targeted campaigns, thought leadership, and participation in key industry events.
Ideal Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Marketing, or Business; equivalent experience considered.
- Significant marketing experience in global or regional roles, specifically in the chemicals, plastics or polymer industry
- Understanding of end market dynamics within a subset of automotive/industrial/consumer/medical and other key end markets for highly engineered materials, knowledge of value chains and specification/decision-making processes;
- Program Management: Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex global programs.
- Strong collaboration, team building, and communication skills to align diverse stakeholders.
- Skilled in leveraging data and insights to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to travel internationally as required (approx. 30%).
