National Accounts Director – Commercial Fleet Battery Solutions
CSI is a fast-growing battery technology company and market leading provider of transportable Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), high-quality advanced battery systems for commercial electric vehicles, and low voltage batteries and electrification components to the North American commercial vehicle market. The company is focused on delivering next-generation 12V battery solutions to the commercial transportation industry. Our portfolio includes new innovative sodium-ion technology designed to improve fleet reliability, safety, sustainability, and total cost of ownership.
The National Accounts Director will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with the largest truck fleets, leasing companies, fleet maintenance organizations, OEMs, dealer networks, and transportation providers throughout North America. You will play a key role in introducing sodium-ion technology to a market historically dominated by lead-acid batteries while simultaneously growing established battery business across major fleet customers.
This is not a territory sales role. This is a strategic business development position focused on creating long-term enterprise partnerships with the most influential fleets in the industry.
We are seeking an industry veteran with established commercial fleet relationships and a proven track record in the lead-acid battery industry, selling battery, aftermarket, maintenance, or transportation solutions to the largest fleets in North America. The ideal candidate brings an existing book of business, deep knowledge of traditional battery technologies, and the ability to successfully transition customers to next-generation solutions.
This role requires someone who can effectively articulate the total cost of ownership (TCO) advantages of CSI's innovative 12V Sodium-Ion battery technology, helping customers understand the long-term operational, financial, and sustainability benefits of adopting this emerging technology.
Preferred Industry Experience: We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working for leading battery manufacturers or distributors, including Clarios, East Penn Manufacturing, EnerSys, Exide Technologies, C&D Technologies, Continental Battery Systems, Interstate Batteries, or similar organizations within the lead-acid battery industry.
This is a rare opportunity to help define an emerging battery category while leveraging existing relationships across the trucking and transportation industry.
Most battery sales roles focus on defending existing business. This role is about shaping the future of commercial fleet energy storage.
You will have the opportunity to leverage your existing fleet relationships to introduce one of the most promising alternatives to traditional lead-acid batteries while helping fleets reduce maintenance costs, improve reliability, and prepare for the next generation of vehicle electrification.
