Job Description
- Role: .Net Software Engineer
- Engagement: 12-Month Contract, with potential to extend
Role Summary
We are looking for a Mid-Level Application Engineer to support the migration and modernisation of legacy data pipelines to a modern ETL and technology stack.
The role will involve working with existing applications and data pipelines, supporting re-platforming activities and developing modern solutions while ensuring stability, quality and adherence to engineering standards.
Must Have
- Solid understanding of data pipelines and their SDLC.
- Proven experience in legacy migration / re-platforming.
- Proficient in C# (.NET Framework v4.7 and above, .NET Core).
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments (Scrum / Kanban).
- Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD.
Good to Have
- Experience with ETL tooling such as BizTalk, Informatica or equivalent.
- Experience with Python / Databricks.
- Experience with containerization platforms, such as OpenShift.
- Knowledge of AWS services including S3, API Gateway and RDS.
- Experience with distributed systems and real-time messaging platforms, such as Kafka.
