Horace Mann is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Large Loss Adjuster to manage high-exposure homeowner property claims, including complex and litigated files.
Requirements
- Manage and investigate large loss and high-exposure homeowner claims
- Verify coverage, interpret policy language, and determine liability and scope of damages
- Evaluate claim facts and damage estimates to move claims toward appropriate and timely resolution
- Conduct on-site inspections as needed to evaluate damages and determine loss exposure
- Negotiate settlements with insureds, attorneys, and public adjusters
- Maintain transparent and timely communication with all stakeholders throughout the claim lifecycle
