Role Overview
Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join our growing learning and development consulting team. You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge, Instructor-Led Training, self-paced eLearning courses and system training simulations using rapid training development tools (WalkMe, and SAP Enable Now).
What You Will Do
Under the direction of a Training Lead, the Instructional Designer will work on client projects which require an experienced instructional designer (ID) / eLearning professional to create the end-user training and other supporting materials required to prepare end users for the systems and process knowledge to perform their jobs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position is a 1099 Contractor Role and has the potential to be converted to full time. Must be a U.S. citizen physically located in the U.S. and availability to work primarily on Eastern Standard Time (EST), as well as across multiple time zones on a flex schedule is required.
Requirements
- Minimum of three to four (3-4) years of instructional design experience, specifically in enterprise systems and applications training within a corporate or consulting environment.
- SAP S/4 highly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and eLearning best practices
- Consulting and Client Experience: Minimum of one to two (1-2) years in a client facing internal or external consulting role for Instructional Design
- Business Process: Strong understanding of fundamental business processes within modern enterprises, including Finance, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, and Human Resources
- Project Management: Proven capabilities to both self-manage as well as delegate and oversee tasks given to collaboration partners
- Team Collaboration and Quality: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts to produce high-quality learning deliverables aligned with client expectations and learning needs
- English Grammar: Exceptional English language skills, including a deep understanding of grammar in both writing and speaking and applying content standards and established style guides to all deliverables
- Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Superior collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Accessibility: Familiarity with accessibility standards and creating inclusive learning experiences
- Adaptability and flexibility: Demonstrated ability to recognize different learning styles and adjusting teaching methods to suit individual needs
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related technical discipline
- Certifications in relevant content development tools where applicable
