GaitMetrics is looking for an experienced Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Software Algorithm Engineer with some relevant experience in analysing data in the domain of Radio Frequency (RF) or Lidar captured parameters related to human activities and gait motion. The scope of responsibilities includes the following:
Responsibility:
- Work closely with the application team in providing the technical research support and development of various Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms for radio sensing (Wifi, mmWaveor other Radio Frequency devices) and/or Lidar;
- Adopt a proactive learning aptitude in subject of electronic work related to radio propagation/Lidar parameters extraction and manipulation;
- Engage and collaborate with industry players, research institutes and institutes of higher learning to assess the maturity, viability and suitability of different AI research and technologies and their applicability to resolve industry problems related to our domain of radio sensing;
- Design, develop, implement and validate proposed algorithms;
- Involved in technical research and development of various AI algorithms and proactively engage in data collection;
- Work towards or collaborate with others in translating the algorithms into potential applications;
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing for successful system implementation with potential customers in proof of concept, system implementation and onsite deployment.
- Ensure customer satisfaction while achieving agreed upon company targets and goals.
- Develop presentations, strategies, tactics and documentation, as required.
- Accompany partners on key strategic sales calls, customer visits, roadshows, exhibition, promotional activities and any other activities required in executing the business.
- Provide ongoing reports to management on the development of opportunities and progress.
- Oversea travel may be required from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Familiar with point cloud data and mmWave radar/Lidar data.
- Familiar with machine learning and simple deep learning algorithms
- Familiar with deep learning and machine learning libraries like Pytorch and Sklearn.
Education Qualifications:
- Diploma (with experience) or Bachelor in Computer Science or relevant Engineering courses
- Relevant experience in the AI research field of working with RF/Lidar based data would be a big plus
- Familiarity with radio/Lidar principles and microcontroller is also a positive
