Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and administer cloud infrastructure by applying strong technical knowledge, hands-on
experience, and customer-centric insights.
- Ensure all system configurations meet high standards of performance, security, and scalability.
- Implement and deploy infrastructure with an automation-first approach, ensuring proper
documentation for all configurations and processes.
- Develop, manage, and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
- Perform routine system administration tasks, including monitoring, patching, troubleshooting,
and performance tuning.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs),
ensuring proper documentation of incidents and resolutions.
- Continuously update and maintain technical skills, certifications, and knowledge of cloud
technologies, operating systems, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to the technical community, sharing best
practices and insights in cloud and OS domains.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices in security,
governance, and operations.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or
equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience in cloud administration and system administration (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google
Cloud Platform).
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and configuration management (e.g., Python, Bash,
PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture principles, including high availability, scalability, and
security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools in cloud and on-prem environments.
- Understanding of security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance
standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently while adhering to SLAs and documentation
standards.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure
Administrator, Google Associate Cloud Engineer) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
