ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Back-End Engineer who will be responsible for developing a high-quality product with constant technical challenges. This remote position is open to candidates anywhere in Brazil, with the team convening in São Paulo for a few days every few months.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development of clean code using good practices, scalable and easy to understand and maintain;

• Testing and implementing cutting-edge technologies, as well as assisting in the creation of new application concepts;

• Stay updated with the latest trends and updates related to back-end development and also the world of AI, such as applications and new technologies;

• Ensure the quality of deliveries, automate the construction and publication process;

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of experience in developing RESTful APIs using Python or Ruby on Rails

• Knowledge in concurrency and parallelism

• Knowledge in design patterns

• Experience in API integration, external services in web applications and client-side performance;

• Version management with Git

BONUS SKILLS

• Familiarity with large language models

• Experience with PyTorch and deployment of models in production

• Docker Swarm

• Message transmission (Kafka or RabbitMQ)

• Experience in management and maintenance of PostgreSQL / MySQL databases

• Unit testing
