Steel Detailer & CAD Drafter/Designer – AU Client (Remote)
Work From Home | Full-Time | AU Hours | PH-Based
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Steel Detailer & CAD Drafter/Designer to support an Australian client in producing accurate technical drawings, steel detailing, and 3D models for various projects.
This role is ideal for someone with strong SolidWorks experience, experience working with Australian clients, and excellent English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Steel Detailing
- Interpret architectural and structural engineering drawings, specifications, and sketches
- Create detailed shop drawings for steel fabrication and erection
- Develop 3D models of steel structures using detailing software
CAD Drafting / Design
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on sketches, specifications, and engineering designs
- Develop technical drawings for structures, mechanical parts, electrical layouts, or architectural plans
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, or project managers
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of SolidWorks experience (non-negotiable)
- 2–3 years experience working with Australian clients
- Strong experience in steel detailing and CAD drafting/design
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
