Responsibility
- The scope of services for the Onshore OutSystems Developers shall include the following:
- Provide implementation, application maintenance and testing support for IT application systems;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and work closely with external parties, ICT providers or government agencies for systems operational and maintenance works and new initiatives/enhancements;
- Research on technology trends and develop proof of concepts;
- Work closely with team members (Developers, testers, business analysts, etc) on development of IT solutions to meet business needs;
- Review project deliverables (e.g. code, design documents, test plan & reports) to ensure the completeness for acceptance;
- Ensure that the delivery of the project is compliant with relevant policies and guidelines and to identify and close any compliance gaps; and
- Ensure that codes follow OutSystems coding best practices and Architecture patterns for application development, and performance is optimized.
Requirement
- At least 4 years of experience as a software developer;
- Certified as an Associate Reactive/Traditional Web/ODC Developer by OutSystems;
- Experience in harnessing AI tools such as Co-pilot to accelerate application development in areas of error reduction and debugging, workflow automation and data integration/modelling is preferred; and
- Use of Azure tools such as Azure DevOps for Ticket management, Azure pipeline for deployments will be an added advantage.
- Personnel(s) possessing one or more of the following capabilities and expertise will have added advantages:
- Cloud Certification from one or more Cloud Service Providers (preferred AWS);
- Experience in SDLC-related projects;
- Experience in Agile development ;
- Knowledge in OutSystem’s BDD framework;
- Knowledge of application security and best practices in application development standards and methodologies; and
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies with working experience in performing various application and systems testing.
