Business Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health by identifying and analyzing business needs, defining requirements and objectives, and making recommendations for solutions using new and existing technologies. The Consultant, Business Analysis partners with business leaders and project teams to identify business needs and deliver Information Technology solutions.
Requirements
- Define interfaces for patient, provider, prescription, claims, inventory, queue/workflow, and payment integrations.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Work on complex projects of large scope.
- Develop technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives.
- Complete work independently receives general guidance on new projects.
- May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
- Analyze new capabilities and changing business needs to inform the delivery of Information Technology solutions.
- Investigate business operations, identifies causes behind the results achieved, and articulates the effects of those results on the business.
- Partner with functional experts to ensure scope is clearly defined for projects and implementation initiatives.
- Continually evaluate projects’ achievement of associated business cases and prevents unnecessary investment.
- Lead elicitation sessions with impacted stakeholders to develop and articulate process flows, requirements and rules, and prepare appropriate documentation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to execute user acceptance testing and change management activities and to understand the results of these activities.
- Provide timely and effective communication, including appropriate status updates, to all impacted stakeholders and project partners, conveying technical concepts and project progress simply and concisely.
- Manage relationships with vendors as necessary for project execution and works with external parties to achieve system integration.
- In partnership with project stakeholders and Director, summarize project results, insights and impacts and creates deliverables for presentation to senior business leaders.
