Manage and support enterprise hybrid infrastructure across on-premises data centres and public cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP and OCI.
Administer Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability, performance and security.
Manage VMware vSphere and Nutanix virtualization platforms, including cluster administration, upgrades, capacity planning and troubleshooting.
Deploy, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, storage, networking and backup solutions.
Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PKI and other core infrastructure services.
Perform infrastructure lifecycle management, including installation, upgrades, patching, migration, disaster recovery and decommissioning activities.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible and other automation tools.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and support CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Manage enterprise endpoint deployment and operating system patching using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.
Monitor enterprise infrastructure using Datadog, Splunk, Azure Monitor, VMware vRealize Operations and other monitoring tools.
Support cloud-native services and optimize cloud resource utilization through cost governance (FinOps).
Manage backup, disaster recovery, SSL certificates, DNS ervices and vulnerability management using enterprise security tools.
Provide Level 3 technical support, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to improve system reliability.
Manage incidents, problems, changes and service requests in accordance with ITIL best practices.
Coordinate with managed service providers (MSPs), vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets agreed KPIs and SLAs.
Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud operations or systems engineering.
Experience managing large-scale hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure in production environments.
Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs), vendors and cross-functional teams.
Experience supporting business-critical systems with high availability requirements.
Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration and Linux operating systems.
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, SRM and vSAN).
Experience managing Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform (AHV, Prism Central, Prism Element and AOS).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Experience with GCP or OCI will be an advantage.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PKI and enterprise file services.
Experience using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Ansible or similar scripting and automation tools.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Azure Monitor or VMware vRealize Operations.
Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions including Veeam, Azure Backup and VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
Good understanding of cloud networking concepts including virtual networks, VPNs, routing, firewalls and load balancers.
Professional certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, VMware, Nutanix or ITIL.
Experience with cloud migration, infrastructure modernization and digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of FinOps, cloud cost optimization and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
