Duration: 2–3 month contract
Clearance: NV1 required
We're supporting a consulting engagement delivering a rollout of ALM Octane within a government environment.
This is a short-term, hands-on contract focused on standing up and configuring the platform, rather than managing a team or long-term transformation program.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the installation and setup of ALM Octane
- Configuring workspaces, users, roles, and permissions
- Setting up test management structures (test suites, runs, defect workflows)
- Aligning the tool to Agile delivery processes
- Supporting integration with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Assisting with data setup or migration where required
- Troubleshooting issues during rollout and stabilisation
- Providing basic documentation and handover to internal teams
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience implementing or configuring ALM Octane
- Strong grounding in test management and QA processes
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Hands-on experience with tool configuration and rollout
- Exposure to CI/CD tooling and integrations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, short-term engagement
Mandatory
- Active NV1 Security Clearance
- Ability to start within a short timeframe
Nice to Have
- Experience with Micro Focus / OpenText toolsets
- Previous exposure to government environments
- Background in test automation or CI/CD integration
