Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer to lead the development of enterprise-grade Shopify solutions while serving as a senior technical contributor across both internal products and client implementations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, influencing architectural decisions, and mentoring other developers in a collaborative, fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of Shopify-based products, including custom applications, storefront extensions, and internal tools
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Shopify solutions using Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, and Shopify APIs
• Drive technical architecture decisions focused on scalability, performance, maintainability, and security
• Design and implement integrations between Shopify and ERP, POS, payment, and third-party platforms
• Establish engineering best practices for version control, CI/CD, deployment pipelines, testing, and documentation
• Participate in client discovery sessions and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring of junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, solution architects, designers, and business stakeholders
• Maintain technical documentation, reusable development patterns, and architectural standards

Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience with deep Shopify expertise
• Proven experience building custom Shopify apps and advanced storefront customizations
• Strong experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, Liquid, React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience designing scalable architectures for enterprise or high-growth Shopify merchants
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to participate in client-facing technical discussions
• Ability to work independently while leading technical initiatives in a remote environment

Preferred:

• Experience with Shopify POS, ERP integrations, or unified commerce solutions
• Previous consulting or digital agency experience
• Experience supporting multi-store, multi-region, or high-volume Shopify environments
• Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce or broader eCommerce ecosystems is an asset
