We are seeking an experienced VoIP Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain reliable VoIP infrastructure while supporting both internal systems and client deployments.
Requirements
- Design, deploy, and maintain VoIP infrastructure including SIP trunking, PBX systems, and unified communications platforms.
- Configure and deploy VoIP hardware and software such as IP phones, gateways, softphones, and session border controllers.
- Manage both multi-tenant cloud VoIP environments and dedicated hosted PBX systems.
- Troubleshoot network-related VoIP issues including latency, jitter, packet loss, and NAT traversal problems.
- Monitor VoIP network performance and system uptime to maintain reliable voice services.
- Manage and maintain PBX platforms including FreePBX, Asterisk, SkySwitch, CoreDial, 3CX, Cisco CUCM, Avaya, or similar systems.
- Configure and maintain VLANs and Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize voice traffic across the network.
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues that impact VoIP performance.
- Manage VoIP infrastructure running on Linux-based environments.
- Implement VoIP security best practices including SIP security, toll fraud prevention, and firewall protection.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for VoIP-related issues.
