The Cybersecurity vertical is Packt’s base for security practitioners, ethical hackers, defenders, auditors, and system protectors operating in an increasingly adversarial digital world. Our portfolio is built around the belief that effective security professionals don’t just learn tools, they develop a deep understanding of attacker mindsets, defensive strategies, and risk-based decision-making across systems, networks, and human factors.
Our top titles reflect this breadth and depth:
At the same time, we recognize that AI is reshaping cybersecurity at every layer from automated threat detection and SOC workflows to adversarial attacks powered by generative models.
Our mission is to stay at the forefront of that shift, ensuring our products prepare professionals not just to use security tools, but to anticipate threats, design resilient systems, and defend against evolving AI-driven attack vectors.
This vertical is for professionals who want to think like attackers, defend like strategists, and secure systems that operate at scale.
The Project Manager (PM) is a core member of the Operations team and is responsible for managing the progress of contracted projects, allocating work to the various stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of a pipeline of books to agreed delivery dates without compromising book quality.

The PM is expected to adapt, prioritize, and re-organize project schedules based on challenges and opportunities associated with the products. In this capacity, you will also play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our author and technical reviewer relationships, providing an environment that fosters creative freedom while maintaining rigorous project timelines. Your strategic oversight will ensure that all project deliverables align with our business objectives, driving continuous improvement and adaptation in our project management processes to meet evolving market demands.
