We’re looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a thriving financial services firm based in Melbourne, Australia. Our client, a progressive Melbourne-based firm, is leading the charge in providing modern solutions for Small to Medium Businesses, exclusively using Xero and a cutting-edge app stack. With a vibrant culture that places innovation, customer experience, and teamwork at its core, we’re looking for a driven Senior Tax Accountant to be part of our Business Services & Compliance division.

· Prepare and review work papers and financial statements for companies, trusts, and individuals.
· Prepare accurate and compliant tax returns.
· Handle tax compliance and reporting requirements.
· Utilize Xero for managing and analyzing financial data.
· Directly liaise with clients to provide tax advice and support.
· Ensure all financial documentation and reports are meticulously detailed.
·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in Australian Tax and Accounting
· Proficiency in Xero and strong financial statement and tax return preparation
· Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal
· A detail-oriented, analytical mindset and an ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
