We are seeking a Senior Cost Estimator with expertise in ACEIT software to join our team and contribute to our national defense mission.
Requirements
- Utilize ACEIT software to develop, maintain, and analyze cost estimates for DoD programs
- Collaborate with program managers and financial analysts to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints
- Generate detailed cost models and conduct sensitivity analyses to identify potential cost drivers and areas for optimization
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of cost estimates, reports, and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Continuously update and refine cost estimating methodologies to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to collect and validate data, including historical cost data, technical specifications, and program schedules
- Assess risks and uncertainties associated with cost estimates and develop mitigation strategies
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in cost estimation and ACEIT software capabilities
- Other duties as assigned
