Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Were looking to expand its accounting department by welcoming a Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist to the team. As the company continues to scale at a rapid pace, a strong addition to AR is crucial. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain experience in receivables of many kinds and interact with various stakeholders. The top priority for this role is to provide support in maintaining complete, timely and accurate records.

This is a full-time role, on a US shift and on a WFH set-up.

Responsibilities:

• Post payments and reconcile accounts according to established requirements.
• Post security deposit refunds for all entities
• Offer support for accounts receivable tasks, including payment and credit memo applications
• Assist with the write-off process, maintain records, and provide reports on write-off activities as needed
• Provide audit support by gathering and organizing all information required by auditors
• Conduct regular account and payment reconciliations in compliance with best practices.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment and billing errors

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and Billing
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field
• Familiarity with accounting systems and AR software (e.g., Salesforce, Zuora, Stripe) is preferred
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, demanding environment
