Staff Embedded Software Engineer - Imaging
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain embedded software, firmware, and device drivers for camera and imaging systems on ARM Cortex-M platforms.
· Integrate camera sensors, support image capture and video streaming, and optimize imaging performance, memory usage, and power consumption.
· Leadimaging software development through the full product lifecycle, from FPGA validation and silicon bring-up to debugging and performance tuning.
· Develop and support tools for image sensor calibration, characterization, and image quality optimization.
· Collaborate with hardware, silicon, verification, and customer engineering teams to deliver robust imaging solutions and support customer deployments.
Requirements
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 10+ years of embedded software developmentexperience.
· Strong experience developing embedded firmware, HALs, and device drivers for ARM-based microcontrollers using C.
· Hands-on experience with camera and imaging technologies, including MIPI CSI-2, image sensors, video pipelines, and image processing.
· Experience with RTOS environments (such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr), embedded debugging tools and laboratory equipment for hardware/software integration.
· Familiarity with embedded software development tools, version control, and development workflows, with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
