The UK People Manager is responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes, policies, and systems operate effectively in a growing organisation. This hands-on operational HR role will deliver core people processes and support managers across the business. Reporting to the Chief of Staff & CEO, this part-time, 6-month fixed-term contract role will likely become full-time afterwards.
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of UK & German employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing the full employee lifecycle within a growing organisation
- Ability to build credibility and trust with employees at all levels, including operational teams
- Comfortable working independently within a remote team environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain HR processes
- Practical, solution-oriented approach to HR challenges
- Experience working in HR within a startup or scaling business environment
