Design, develop, deploy, and maintain automation software solutions supporting factory operations, including autonomous material delivery, factory scheduling, and in-house equipment automation.
Work closely with site manufacturing teams to understand operational needs and develop automated scheduling solutions that improve productivity, cycle time, and system efficiency.
Collaborate with global factory automation teams to enable and integrate autonomous mobile robot solutions for automated material delivery within the factory.
Partner with global equipment and automation groups to develop, enhance, and support in-house equipment automation, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of production systems.
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of automation solutions, including understanding requests, solution design, development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous evaluation and improvement.
Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and performance improvement using data analysis, system monitoring, and visualization tools (e.g., dashboards and reports).
Support day-to-day production operations by troubleshooting automation systems, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Perl and/or Python, SQL, and web technologies (Angular, HTML, CSS), with demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new programming languages and frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, AlmaLinux), including system usage, scripting, and troubleshooting.
Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployment, data processing, or infrastructure usage.
Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is an advantage.
Hands-on experience or practical exposure to AI and Machine Learning techniques is an advantage.
Demonstrated leadership potential through teamwork, collaboration, or involvement in activities beyond academic coursework.

Maximizes yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Troubleshoots wafer fabrication problems and performs root cause analysis. Works with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Long-term investigation of defect issues may require extensive work with shift engineering and other functional areas. Evaluates products to ensure they meet the required design and performance specifications. Conducts research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommends process improvements or equipment changes needed to efficiently manufacture new product or part types.
