We are seeking a highly skilled Video Systems Engineer to support the end‑to‑end design, installation, configuration, optimisation and customisation of our software in complex video network deployments.
This role is a key part of our customer delivery organisation and will actively contribute across all stages of the project lifecycle — from early design discussions and documentation review, to hands-on installation, real-time troubleshooting, acceptance testing, and customer enablement.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly in fast‑moving project environments. You will work closely with senior engineers, R&D, Product Management, Project Managers and customer stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, reliable deployments that meet the evolving needs of our global customers.
If you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy problem‑solving, and want to work with cutting‑edge video and IP technologies, this role offers a high degree of autonomy, technical challenge, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment & Configuration
- Install, configure, customise and validate software components within video delivery solutions across customer lab and production environments.
- Follow established processes and best practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of implementation.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in real time during installation and configuration activities, ensuring minimal blockers to project progress.
Technical Documentation
- Produce detailed Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for customer approval.
- Contribute to reviews of Architectural and High-Level Design (HLD) documents under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure documentation is clear, complete and adheres to internal and customer standards.
Testing & Validation
- Execute acceptance testing after installation to confirm successful deployment.
- Validate integrations, performance, and service functionality through structured test plans.
- Support root‑cause analysis where issues arise.
Customer Engagement
- Act as a key technical interface for customers throughout delivery.
- Clearly communicate progress, issues, requirements and next steps.
- Escalate complex technical matters to senior engineers and collaborate to ensure timely resolution.
Integration & Customization
- Assist in building or modifying adjacent modules and integration points (APIs, workflows, scripts) under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support end-to-end testing of integrations involving multiple components across the video delivery chain.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Support Project Managers and Pre‑Sales Architects in preparing work estimations, technical scoping and feasibility checks.
- Provide structured feedback to engineering and management to improve deployment processes, tooling, and product robustness.
