We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a close-knit team responsible for infrastructure and the Internal Developer Platform. We treat our platform as a product - your job will be to understand the needs and provide the tools and environment so that developing, testing, and maintaining our apps is easy and frictionless. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit in isolation with infrastructure - we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, builds bridges between teams, and looks at problems more broadly than just through the lens of servers. You'll have real influence over the shape of the infrastructure, platform, and tooling - a broad scope, not just "maintenance".
Take care of the architecture - design, expand, and create highly available systems
Develop our Internal Developer Platform through daily collaboration with development teams - pointing out optimal architectural solutions, helping launch new and existing services on Kubernetes and ArgoCD
Develop tools and the ecosystem around the release process
Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Atlantis
Own the operational side of things: monitoring, alerting without noise, runbooks, and building scalable, resilient systems
Take part in R&D projects and introduce new technological solutions
Experience building infrastructure based on Kubernetes
Automation-oriented mindset - knowledge of Bash and Python will be a plus
Experience working in a Linux environment (regardless of distribution)
Solid knowledge of technologies and protocols like HTTP, TCP, and DNS
Practical knowledge of AWS (or GCP or Azure)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (including Terraform) - the less time and effort it takes you to provision infrastructure from scratch, the better
Strong communication skills and a genuine willingness to collaborate closely with development teams
Openness, technical curiosity, and a habit of following what's happening in the industry
The ability to work in one of the following technologies will be an added advantage:
Experience with applications based on PHP or NodeJS
Experience with infrastructure supporting machine learning applications
Familiarity with modern application architecture best practices (scalability, healthchecks, cost-aware resource usage)
Great development opportunities - company-supported courses and conferences
Individual work tools - MacBook Pro, Dell screen, JBL headphones. You can tailor the equipment to your needs!
Mental well-being program - individual therapy sessions and resources for employees
Free access to one of the most popular e-book/audiobook services
Regular social events (company-wide offsites, team events)
Interview with the Head of Infrastructure and a Recruiter
Technical interview with the Infrastructure team
