EverAI is looking for a Junior/Mid AI Compliance Specialist to join their Compliance Team. The role involves owning legal and compliance-related workflows/projects, guided by the Ethics and Compliance Officer. The ideal candidate should have a passion for tech and AI, and a strong understanding of data protection law and contracts. They should be able to distill complex legal concepts into plain English and have a doer mindset, willing to learn and balance execution, planning, and strategy.
Requirements
- Lega l education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, recognized legal certification)
- 2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or similar positions
- At least 2 years of experience working with contracts, generally, and data protection law, specifically
- Ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English
- Interest in AI
- Strong communication & collaborative skills
- Goal-oriented, ownership and commitment
- Doer mindset - we are moving fast and need people who can balance execution, planning, and strategy
- Humble - willing to learn, open to feedback
