Job Overview
You will be deployed to our client who is a leading government technology agency driving digital transformation and innovation in the healthcare sector. As an Cloud Engineer, you will be expected to develop and maintain the AWS cloud platform, build business applications, and automate processes using Microsoft Power Platform. You will be the technical resource ensuring the cloud infrastructure is stable, secure, and scalable, while driving automation and digital solutions across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy solutions on AWS, ensuring system stability, performance,and availability
- Monitor system health, performance logs, and alerts using AWS CloudWatch and respond to incidents promptly
- Manage infrastructure scaling, automation, and provisioning to support growing business demands
- Enforce security compliance, networking rules (VPC, Security Groups, NACLs), and IAM policies
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools
- Build applications and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate
- Identify process automation opportunities and integrate Power Platform solutions with AWS and other systems
- Advise the organisation on cloud and automation best practices and emerging trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in AWS development and platform management
- Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, IAM policies, and networking
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices on AWS
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and AWS ECS or EKS will be anadvantage
- AWS or Microsoft Power Platform certification will be an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
