Leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of financial-services processes, you will support clients in building scalable, high-performance data platforms that enable data-driven decision making.
As an SAP BW Consultant, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to translate complex requirements into effective data models and reporting solutions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing data quality, governance, and analytics maturity across our client organisations.
Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical specifications.
- Support data modelling activities, including schema design, data harmonisation, and performance optimisation.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through validation, reconciliation, and testing processes.
- Contribute to data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Assist in implementing data governance, metadata management, and data lineage frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data loads, performance, and reporting outputs.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and migration initiatives (e.g. SAP BW to BDC transitions).
- Collaborate across project teams, including finance, risk, IT, and architecture, to ensure aligned and integrated solutions.
- Produce clear technical documentation, including data models, ETL logic, and reporting specifications.
- Participate in testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT) and support business users during validation phases.
- Provide input into best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP data landscape.
- Stakeholder and client management.
The successful candidate must have:
- 4–8+ years of experience in SAP BW/BW/4HANA within financial services (Banking/Insurance/Consulting) is beneficial.

- Proven experience with ETL processes and SAP data integration tools (e.g. SAP BW ETL, SAP Data Services, SLT).
- Experience working with SAP HANA and performance optimisation techniques.
- Exposure to reporting and analytics tools (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, BEx, Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of financial services data models and regulatory reporting requirements is beneficial.

- Relevant bachelor's degree, with a strong preference for a postgraduate qualification.
- SAP certifications (e.g. SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Business Data cloud) are advantageous.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data architecture principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced project environments.
- A results-driven approach and a readiness to embrace change, overcome challenges, and deliver on complex projects.
